This month we saw the liveliness the spring air brought to our residence and celebrated with a special visit from one of our neighbours from the Halifax Lancers.
Ben and an enthusiastic group from the local Halifax Lancers stopped by to visit an old friend who was staying at hospice and spread his joy with our residence. The crew walked through downtown Halifax enjoying the sunshine and stopping for photos before their final destination, the lovely gardens surrounding Hospice Halifax.
Ben’s visit reminded us of the difference that sunshine and meeting with old friends, horses or humans, can have as we wait for more sunny days and visit from our furry friends. Seeing the patients smiling from ear to ear made the visit much more special. We are grateful for our community of visitors, volunteers, and supporters like you, who make hospice care possible.
