Having held numerous volunteer positions over the years, Kerry-Ann brings a passion for community and a focus on making a difference. Most recently she served on the board of Laing House for 5 years and was part of the committee for their annual fundraiser event. Kerry-Ann’s professional career was spent in the hospitality industry spanning over 20 years with leading hotel brands. She held various positions including Director of Sales and Marketing, Regional Sales Manager and National Account Director focusing on new business development and account management, responsible for major accounts in both Canada and throughout the United States. Over the past few years Kerry-Ann has enjoyed working in the women’s fashion industry at local boutiques. Kerry-Ann graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Further contributing to her education, Kerry-Ann also worked and studied at Walt Disney World. When not volunteering or working, Kerry-Ann enjoys an active lifestyle with her two daughters and her husband. Born and raised in the Annapolis Valley, Kerry-Ann is a proud Nova Scotian and feels incredibly fortunate to live in such a beautiful place. This further fuels her desire to support her local community. Kerry-Ann is looking forward to being part of the Board of Hospice Halifax and the Co-Chair of the 2026 Feeling the Love gala.
