Margaret Champion

Margaret is an occupational therapist and health leader who has worked in Nova Scotia health and education systems for over 30 years. She graduated from Dalhousie with her Master of Health Administration in 2009 and is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders. Margaret is currently working as the Interim Director of Integrated Youth Services Nova Scotia at IWK Health. Before this role, she was most recently the Dean of the School of Health and Human Services at the Nova Scotia Community College. Through her career she has held various leadership positions including Director roles in Children’s Medical Care, Rehabilitation Services, Interprofessional Practice and Human Resources. Margaret’s most treasured role is as mom to her two sons, William and Alex. She is an avid hiker with her partner Dan and also is an occasional participant in local community music and theatre experiences.
