Each year, Hospice Halifax celebrates the beauty of love and connection to raise funds for free, compassionate end-of-life care and community grief support. This evening invites you to explore one of the most enduring expressions of love: the written word.
To write a letter is to give shape to love. It takes the feelings we can’t touch and places them on a page we can hold in our hands. Feeling the Love is an evening where every letter, note, and message comes to life.

Dinner & Dance
6 p.m.
Put pen to paper as your evening begins with a lively social reception sealed with sophisticated drinks, the signature Handbags for Hospice auction, photobooth moments, raffle prizes, and thoughtfully letter-inspired activities.
These opening notes set the stage for a gourmet three-course dinner.
As the night unfolds, sign your signature on the dance floor to live music from The Mellotones, and you may even find yourself addressed as one of our lucky prize winners.
This is an evening designed to turn moments of connection into memories that are everlasting, like ink on paper.

Read between the lines and arrive as part of the late-night crowd.
Indulge in a gourmet dessert buffet filled with decadent chocolates and sweet treats, and between plates take part in thoughtfully letter-inspired activities and capture the moment at the photobooth.
Sign off the night dancing to live music from The Mellotones and the chance to win an elaborate prize. All for just $50!

Handbags for Hospice is back! This auction features luxury, gently used handbags and jewellery donated by our social enterprise, Hospice Thrift Store.
These handbags are from designers like Coach, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Valentino and many more.
Bids open February 7, 2026 at midnight and close February 14, 2026 at 10 p.m.
