One of Hospice Halifax’s incredible nurses, Kate Mason, stepped forward with the idea to go on a memorial bike ride. Kate plans to ride one kilometer for every patient that died at Hospice Halifax in our first year of operation and is looking to turn this into a COVID-19 safe fundraiser!

On October 9th, Kate will ride 127-kilometers from Lunenburg to Hospice Halifax along the Rails-to-Trails. This is a big undertaking for an amateur cyclist like Kate, but she’s up for the challenge!

You can participate in Kate’s Memorial Ride by sponsoring a KM for $50 (We have a silent matching Donor, which means your $50 contribution equals $100). There are many other fun ways to participate like adding a song to her playlist, suggesting alternative training, and even a chance to pie our CEO!

We know that our efforts are only possible because of the contributions we receive from generous donors like you, and we thank you again for believing in and supporting our mission.

We will be sharing lots of Kate’s training on our social media channels as she gears up for her big ride! Be sure to follow along on Facebook & Instagram.

Thank you for supporting Kate’s Memorial Ride for Hospice Halifax. Simply select the ways you would like to participate below and follow the instructions. If you would just like to donate, there is an option for that too!
