You are invited to the 2025 Hospice Halifax Memorial Gathering
We warmly invite you to join us for this year’s Memorial Gathering, which will recognize the lives of those who received end-of-life care at Hospice Halifax between June 2024 and May 2025.
This gathering is an opportunity to reconnect with Hospice Halifax staff, meet others who have experienced a similar loss, and reminisce in community.
- Date: Sunday September 21, 2025
- Time: 10:00 a.m. start, please arrive ten minutes prior
- Location: The Oaks at St. Mary’s University

The event is closed to the public and open to family and friends of Hospice Halifax patients who died between June 2024 and May 2025. Please feel welcome to invite others from your loved one’s life and kindly include them in your RSVP.

Where to Go
- The Memorial will be held at The Oaks, a peaceful green space located on the south side of St. Mary’s University at 5920 Gorsebrook Avenue.
- If arriving by car, drive south along Robie Street to the street’s end. The Oaks will be on your left.
- Parking is available in a lot (30 spaces), with additional street parking.
- The event will take place on a flat grassy area and seating will be provided.
- Please note: pets are not permitted.
