On the Go Grief Support Group
On the Go Grief Support Group
The On the Go Grief Support Group is a seasonal walking group to connect people with the comfort of nature while grieving a death. Participants join a trained bereavement facilitator on a peaceful stroll through Point Pleasant Park where they can share their experiences surrounded by the grounding sights, smells, and sounds of the outdoors.
People may join at any point in their grief journey and talk as little or as much as needed. Our trained facilitators will guide the discussion as the group shares and finds understanding in each other’s company.
- On the Go is for adults over the age of 18.
- Current programming is on pause for the season
- For any questions, please contact our current walk guide and facilitator, Arthur, at a.sullivan@hospicehalifax.ca.
