Emily has a strong background in community health philanthropy and is deeply committed to advancing high-quality end-of-life care for all. Throughout her career, she has been most passionate about initiatives that enhance community care, including palliative care, digital health innovations, and education. Beyond fundraising, Emily is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Studies at St. Francis Xavier University, where her research focuses on how education can improve palliative care in rural communities. Emily believes in the power of storytelling, education, and advocacy to drive meaningful, lasting change. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the natural beauty of Canada’s ocean playground.
