Miguel Cheff is the Development Officer of Events and Partnerships at Hospice Halifax, where he focuses on coordinating meaningful events, building strong community connections, and raising awareness about compassionate end-of-life care.
With a long-standing passion for non-profit work, Miguel has dedicated his career to creating spaces where people feel supported, informed, and engaged. Originally from Cochrane, Ontario, his journey began at the Polar Bear Habitat, a sanctuary for polar bears, where he discovered the power of uniting people around a shared purpose. His most recent role at the Alzheimer Society of Sudbury, where he served as Manager of Education and Community Programs, deepened his commitment to person-centered care and public education.
Now based in Halifax, a city he’s proud to call home, Miguel is excited to collaborate with
members of the community to grow the reach and impact of Hospice Halifax. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring nature, expressing himself creatively, and connecting with others.
