Before joining the philanthropy team in 2025, Rebecca studied Public Relations and Communications Management at McGill University, where she also spent eight years honing her skills in Donor Communications within University Advancement. Rebecca is passionate about connecting with people and learning their stories through her philanthropic work. Prior to her time in Montreal, she spent over 14 years working in Halifax’s film and television industry, rising from Production Assistant to Producer on a variety of TV series and movies. “Cat Wrangler”; was once an actual job title she held. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys being active—especially in nature—and is thrilled to be back in Nova Scotia, close to the ocean and her family.
