SaDeia Williams

Bereavement Counsellor

SaDeia is a proud member of the African Nova Scotian community, hailing from the North end of Halifax. SaDeia obtained both her BSW and MSW from Dalhousie University with a certificate in Interprofessional Health Education. SaDeia has over 20 years’ experience in client care specialization and case management in addition to experience working in education and employment, outreach social work and post- secondary counselling. SaDeia’s interest in end-of-life care was ignited when providing end of life care for her grandmother and the passion to provide grief and bereavement counselling manifested and intensified when SaDeia did her MSW practicum in the ICU of the QEII Halifax Infirmary. SaDeia’s goal is to provide client centered, culturally responsive and inclusive grief and bereavement counselling supports, services and resources. In her spare time SaDeia loves spending time with her loved ones and being outside, especially by the ocean.
